VPN Firewalls

VPN virtual privet Network !

What is the VPN ?
Basically VPN is connecting remote locations two or more each other thru internet or ISDN or dialup

Which is we can’t connect in local area. now days most of VPN s using over internet why ? it’s cheaper and easy to subscribes such like Broad Band and ADSL and good speed
So let’s see how we can configure VPN thru the ADSL or broad band
First of all we need to isolate to ends to connect each other .
Using Dynamic connections

Most of internet DSL or Broad Band connection are Dynamic (temper IP) ones you restart your router ip address will be change for this reason we need use DNS (Domain Named System)
DNS
Domain Named Systems
How DNS use for our VPN connection? When we considering for non changing hop in DSL or Broad Band connection we can use this DNS
How it works?
Easy you have to go to http://www.dydns.org/ and make a logging
Note. Especially if you have ADSL connection you can use same username and password provided by ISP

From that you can verify your conformation witch they will send to your mail box
Then go to your account and add domain Name for your location

1 add DNS and type name you like
2 choose domain from the list there is lots of domain you can choose
Ex. your name .dydnds.org/yourname.dynds.info
3. after create dyndns click your domain name appear in top of the window then you can see there is one tick to select AUTO PICK IP select and exit
Now you have domain isolate for internet where ever you ping to your DNS you can see your IP Address available
Next step how to configure Cisco Linksys VPN firewalls
